SUNDAY MORNINGS
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages starting at 9:30am. The worship celebration begins at 10:30am. Our hope is that you will encounter a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Come as you are! We dress casually. What's important is that you are here. Let's join together and praise and worship Jesus Christ, our Lord. You’ll find our worship to be a celebration and God-centered. We sing together, read Scripture together, pray together, and listen together to pastoral preaching. We offer a blend of traditional and contemporary musical styles featuring piano, organ, drums, guitar, and more!
Nursery care is available for children under two or who are not yet potty trained during Sunday School and morning worship. Our preschool room is set up for kids who are potty trained but are not yet in Kindergarten. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade attend the first part of the worship service and then leave for their own special worship time with Miss Jill!

MEMBERSHIP
Though membership is never commanded in the Bible, we believe it is important. Membership is spoken about in a number of instances, such as in the following scriptures. (Click on each passage to read it.) Acts 2:42-47, Acts 6:1-6, Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-26, Ephesians 2:19-22, Ephesians 4:4-6, Hebrews 13:17.
So, why join the church? It is our public proclamation that we identify with Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We are called to be together as one body. Because we are part of the body of believers, we recognize our need for one another. We cannot do life as a solo mission.
When we join a church, we are stating we believe in the church’s mission, vision and values. We identify with that church as we show our commitment to the people of the church. We believe it is essential to worship together, serve together, reach out together and give together.
At First Baptist Church we do our best to avoid the hoops people experience in joining a church. When you join FBC you will have stated your belief in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Messiah. You will have been or are willing to be baptized by immersion as a believer in Jesus. You agree with our mission and are willing to be an active participant in the life of the church.
When you become a member of FBC, you can hold a number of positions within the church which helps you utilize your spiritual gifts. You are also able to vote on different matters within the life of the church such as budgets, capital projects and other church related activities.
